There are plenty of women who care for trees. It isn't hard to use gender neutral terms. English is a creative language so there has to be a way to find a good term.

Actually I have been asked many times over the years, "what is an arborist?' I know there are many fields in aborculture, but I choose to keep the answer simple.

I agree 100 percent tree guy ,person whatever.Ive been certified for years now but I was a praticing arborist long before.Now because of the ethics policy I may not re certify(not sure yet).But would I be any less of an arborist,would i suddenly lose my knowledge and experience.My passion is the same and so are my principles.Ive seen guys who are certified who are hacks and Ive seen others with no degree or certs who are great arborist.Its like any thing else in life whatever is in our heart is transparent in our life.If we love trees and care for them it we be evident to all regardless of what title we adhere to.
