What is a Stihl MS-361C worth?

Does anybody what a Stihl MS-361C is worth?

I'm having a hard time pricing it as it is no longer made. Was manufactured in 2009 or 2010 I believe. Has had maybe 15 tanks of gas through it.

Thanks.

I think that can be called a facetious comment.

He'll give you $50, like I'd do any tree for the flat rate of $1,000,000. I certainly would, if I had any takers.

It's a nice saw. The newer model 362s has been out a while. Don't know what upgrades or problems either one has.

I'd guess you can get around $300+. Its really what the market will bear, and how long you'll wait (my retired dad one waited 2 months to get an extra $200 out of a car he was selling, that wasn't in the way, just sitting in the driveway with a For Sale sign). Ebay has the largest audience.

Even without use, time ages things. How it was stored affects it. Does it start and run like new? If it was stored for years with ethanol gas in it, you may have issues.

I bought a nearly new 361 about 11 years ago, when 361s were relatively new for $400 plus shipping when they were $600 plus tax.

If it's a traditional carburetor it will have adjustment holes on the side of the plastic somewhere. The carb will also have 3 adjustments screws on it. You should be able to see them if you remove the air filter.

It has the 3 adjustment screws.

So does a traditional carby make it a more or a less desirable saw?

Thanks Barc Buster and Gear Geek for the carburetor info. Does this saw have the quick chain tensioner or the regular two bar nuts and screw tensioner? Thanks!
