I would like this opportunity to offer my services as your personal gear caddy/manservant for the day. I will also be serving Christina.
"You thirsty? What event do you have next? Is your throwline ready to deploy?" See, I have been practicing.

Dan Stevens won the mens. Watch out Mark C...hes comming to get you.

Christina DOMINATED everything she did. Watch out Kathy H...shes comming to get you.
She will most likely walk all over me at the AZ comp next time around. I just cant say enough about this kid. Great climber, great attitude, and she is just getting started.
I will be taking throwline lessons from her next week.
Damn that girl can throw! Better than one shot one kill EZ. I know its hard to believe but its true.

Great performances by Chad Brey, Jacob Clausen, and Jared as well.
My homie Andy (Rocks n Trees) took 6th place! Great Job Andy!
The Force is strong in the Western Chapter.

Congrats Dan and Christina!

Man, I sure missed coming out there this year. I'll be there next year, though. I got some great climbing tunes on my mp3 to plug in.

Does anybody know where they're thinking about for next year?

The WCISA Annual conference will be held in San Diego and at this time their looking to maybe have the WCISA TCC in San Diego as well. Could be that Balboa Park might be a place to hold the event. Their was talk of maybe Santa Barbara but somebody has to step up and make things happen.

How was the Wraptor ?

Nice going Mr. Stevens.

The Wraptor was a hit!
Parks dept. didnt want A.P.S. to pull their bucket truck on the lawn so it worked out perfect for hoisting the climbers into the work climb. Sorry you couldn't make it Robert.

That would be sweet! Some Huge Ficus trees there (like the one in my avatar) although the area underneath them is not ideal for competition.

The wraptor was cool. We should use it every year. Much better (and faster) than a bucket.

My daughter lives in San Diego. I've been to Balboa Park. It would be a great place for a TCC. Keep me in the loop. I'll try to work out a visit when the TCC is scheduled.
