WesSpur Customers - Loyalty Points

Old one was bit outdated looking but it functioned better and I don't know why but things were easier to find . At least with my smartphone.
New style website style ? Meh. It's does functions. But it's just so lifeless.
It is brand new style but very cut throat lifeless looking.
If there is happy medium that would be great . Like newest looking design but but user friendly much softer touch looking kinda .

Only I can think of that is that I think Wesspur just got duped by Web designer sales team or something .LoL

But I do know Wesspur people and had talked over the phones several times in a past and I know are still just as same as before as Solid as Rock crews so I like to check them out as always. They are darn honest & great & nice people .

Man ! I love them .

Ive just got emails from Wesspur that they are doing Yale Ropes sale Festival or something. Let's see what they got. ...lol

Yeah, I haven't found anyone who likes the new site, including me.
I strongly disliked their old site. It took me years to learn the lay of the land so to speak. Once I figured it out, it was ok… then I learned they have gear listed in the catalog which isn’t advertised on the site and vise versa! That and many times in each which they stopped carrying quite a while back.
Why in the heck is cabling gear listed in rigging?
Life support rigging is technically rigging so should that be listed there too?
I get trying to categorize, but apparel isn’t PPE, and so on. I’m all about KISS.

No offense to Tom, Mark or any of the crew here but I also am not too fond of the new buzz. Some of the bells and whistles are great, some still glitchy, and for whatever reason pages seem to be increasingly slower to load.

But I’m getting old, and found myself throwing a fit because my head lights started working intermittently in my ‘00 ford. Took the dial panel off expecting to find a loose connection and found a fucken circuit board. A freakin headlight switch for F sakes, off, running lights, full on. Three simple functions and it somehow requires a circuit board to operate?!!

I'm with you. Although my 95 F350 is somewhat free of that crap, I still found that I had to replace a computer that I didn't even know it had hidden in a fender. Everything is over engineered these days. I dream of returning to analog times.
As far as WesSpur's site, I thought they would get it straightened out by now, but apparently it is not high on their priority list. I gave them pages and pages of problems that needed attention, but only a few of them got done. Maybe they don't care. Your guess is as good as mine.

Yeah now a days car needs some brains to monitor, detect and self diagnose it's issues and it's got black box too. So, technicians like myself plug into diagnostic machine and can't tell what's wrong right away. Replace the bad parts and off you go . When there is no parts available then forget it. LoL . It's convenient for us but I know what you mean. .. I remember on side of the road no cars passjng by or close cities .. Ive hooked up soldering tool trying to solder a wires with shaky hands and rattling teeth in a one cold winter night coz there is no heater air blowing ... so I can fix 70's dodge 440 7.2 V8 l big barrels ignition starter releys shorted wires ... so I can just go home ...and I did.
