Pulley FS
This is quick and simple with stuff everyone has laying around their house...
i think this is better inverting mount than shown in "Art & Science of Practical Rigging" in that this doesn't pull cross wise, but inline with bowline properly.
Am thinking next trial may be a straight/unbelled clevis, with brass bushing around clevis pin (axle). i think brass would give good slip with lil'friction on the steel pin of clevis for good efficiency. The thicker the walls of brass bushing, the greater leverage over the whatever friction at the bushing/axle turning point. As to increase efficeincy even more beyond the slippery brass to steel/ bushing to axle machine. The rope turning the bushing, the ratio differance between the outside bushing diameter and inside diameter, adding leverage to rope turning bushing on the slippery brass bushing to steel axle.

Pretty slick Tom. Is the bushing pulley with small sheave diameter/efficiency leverage over turning on bushing, that much more efficient than just bushing on pin of clevis?
