Frontrunner. First it was the Panthers, then the Steelers, now the Giants. When you gonna learn???

I would like to this whole "frontrunner" business to bed. I was born in Pittsburgh, so I am a die-hard Steelers fan.
I moved to Charlotte in 1995, the same year the Panthers franchise was born. Since I am an AFC guy, I had no problem rooting for an NFC team, provided they don't make it to the Super Bowl against my team, the Steelers (which nearly happened a few years ago). In the Super Bowl, I would always root for the men of Steel.
Concerning the Patriots, I have rooted for the opposing team in all 18 of their contests this season, and have grown more bitter and jaded as the season wore on, and it became clear that my two teams both suck and blow.
At this point, the only thing that would bring me joy would be to see the Patriots lose after this magical season in the big game, preferably by a field goal.
I mean, even if the Pats win, it's not like Bellichick will be happy. Have you ever seen the man not look tortured by inner demons? Even after doling out unholy beatdown after unholy beatdown on teams throughout the regular season, Bellichick looks like he has swallowed anti-freeze, and is trying to keep it down during the press conference.
I maintain that it is the guilt from winning the wrong way, the cheating way, that will haunt the rest of his sloppy hoody wearing days.
So go Giants.
