Wanted: Splice/sew in Dallas area.

If you can’t find someone specific for arborist, I’d recommend checking with a rigger at a local skydiving drop zone. Those guys are usually former military and very proficient with all types of splicing and sewing.

I used to have a sailboat I kept at a marina in North Alabama. At the powerboat marina by our sailboat marina, there's an immaculate 120 ft motor yacht. That's a lot of boat for the lake!

Getting that yacht to the marina from Norway where it was built was possible since the lake is accessible from the Gulf of Mexico.

A buddy of mine had a tattoo on his upper right arm. It was of a fouled anchor’ with USN on the vertical part

He said that it was the logo of the University of Southern Nevada yacht club and had nothing to do with his enlistment in the US Navy

Lake Mead is nearby, but I'm not buying the story. School with an enrollment of 1000 has a yacht club? And he was in the Navy. Maybe the tattoo is not in accordance with Navy regs or protocol, so he had to come up with an alternate story.
