VIDEO and PICS --> Minnesota canopy camping trip.

I know you're all probably familliar with the ENO hammock. To combat the cold backside I was going to buy an old sleeping bag (mummy) and stitch or grommet a hole at the foot and thread the hammock cord through it then carabiner and sling. To keep the head in place I could maybe use Velcro or tie it to the cord of the hammock at the head. The outer bag would not compress, just like the cozy on a Treeboat. I would try a dry run or two though before taking it in the for real cold because like what if it turned out to be like wrestling an aligator? Thoughts.

Excellent idea. You might end up with a little too much air space between the upper side of the bag and your body.

Speaking of the ENO hammock... Looking at their rainfly, looks like it needs to be staked to the ground or somewhere in the tree if you're high off the ground. Cool aspect of the NT Treeboat is the fly attaches completely to the hammock so you still only need two attachment points to the tree to set up the hammock and fly. That said it would be worth figuring out how to rig a fly on an ENO so you could easily implement the fly at height.

Try again on April 6th, unless that conflicts with another gathering in the cities.
