When you get more grey hairs then "I get to climb way up there!" turns to "I got to climb way up there?" Make the most of the years between get to and got to. After that look for help where you can get it.

a very similar device has been used in caving circles for many years. This one looks to be a little more compact and better designed.

To bad it's not remote controlled. I could get somthing from the ground in a second. You might get a headache if your assending line is leaning on a limb and you don't move fast enough.

There was a similar device introduced a few years ago called the powerquick at bonanzaproducts.com. I believe it was $10,000+ but it had a remote. Also a gas powered ascender at hoogwerk.nl. This new one looks like fun and saves your energy for work not getting to work.
