Vermeer Mini Skid Steer

I have a 2008 Vermeer S600tx. It has around 1200 hours on the Kubota Diesel engine and is in great condition. All maintenance performed by Vermeer Midwest in Lincoln. They have records of all work done. New tracks on the machine. Comes with no attachments as I need them on my other mini. I purchased a new Vermeer is the only reason I am selling. This one works fabulously and made me lots of money in my tree company. Easily replaces the work of 4 people and doesn't call in sick. Pair this mini with a dump trailer and you have yourself a great business. Fits through a 36" gate to work in back yards.

Price- $13000. Because of new emission standards by the government, the new engine prices have driven up the cost of new machines. The new Vermeer machine is over 2x what this costs. Look at vermeer's used listings and see that this same machine is selling for 3-5 thousand over what I am asking.

AmericanArborist I'm not a prospect for your mini. But, I wonder if you would mind telling me what you think is the best length dump trailer and configuration of trailer to work that way in tree work? Thanks in advance for your time and perspective.

I like having a 14' dump trailer. I've customized mine with large tie down straps and a way to carry 10 alturnamats but the next dump trailer I would order would be factory optioned with a alturnamat rack in front of the dump bed. With my trailer I can carry my sc372 and my mini s725tx and attachments and 10 mats. Of course I have to come back for the equipment if I have a load of logs. If we aren't doing stumps sometimes I leave my grinder at home and tuck the logs in front of the mini.

This is a photo of an older trailer I had. I've since tweaked things a bit on the newer one.

That gives me some good ideas on tie down.

So 24 inch sides?

Do you know what total weight trailer hits commonly?

And can you comfortably pull it with a one ton pick up?

My 15000 gvw 14' trailer weighs about 3500 empty I think. I can put a lot of log in it and I pull it with a 88 gmc 1 ton no problem.
