Incidentally power did not seem to be an issue. BC900 is rated at 35 HP, gas engine. My tractor at 50 HP, diesel. Except that the Vermeer stops feeding when the rpms drop below some level and starts again fairly quickly when they rise back. Slowed things down a bit at times but was not a big issue. It shows up clearly in YouTube videos. I expect that would not be an issue or perhaps a design feature with a chipper with considerably more HP and torque.
