I'm going to Vancouver for 12 days on Saturday. No climbing gear, only taking my team Canada jersey. Can anyone recommend anything interesting to see?

Stanley Park, do the seawall walk and watch the sunset from there. Granville Island, Garibaldi...

Stanley Park, Queen Elizibeth Park, UBC Botanical Garden, Nitobe Japanese Garden @UBC, Sun Yet-sen Chinese Garden. But first go to the vapor lounge in Vansterdam! Makes the garden tours and olympic crowds no problem mon. Oh ya, GO CANADA GO!!

Drink Granville Island Beer and eat Flying wedge pizza. If your into music check out Zulu records, I think it's at Cyprus st. and 4th Ave. GO TEAM CANADA!

Hope you're ready to spend some time in line. It's amazing how crazy it is in town right now, but you're in for a lot of fun for sure. I think you might find it tough to see many sites with how the olympics chaos has congested the city. Hit up Granville Isl, the village, Quebec House and Holland/Heineken house. I spent 45 minutes on Sunday night being corralled onto a superferry with about 2000 others. Mayhem!

If you have a car drive up to Squamish and hike up the Chief. PAS is a good shop, not exactly big but well stocked.

Take a picnic to Klootchman Park, might be one place that's not busy.
