Is it generally allowed in comps to use the rope runner pro without en1891 type a specific lines?

I use 11.7 double braids like blue moon and hyper climb, but the manual for RRP says to use en1891 A ropes.

I didn't realize the manual said to use with en1891a ropes , I that's the case I would just stick to ropes meet that criteria

Yeah, I'm not buying another rope just to use the RRP in a comp. I'd rather shelf the device and stick with the rope wrench.

I mean, the only rope that I have ever tried in a RRP that didn't run great was some 1/2" 16 strand. It felt like trying to drive a Porshe on old cobblestone roads
Haha true enough, I should have specified that they're both en 1891 ropes that are the same or similar size to what @Phil was running already
