i would say single line footlocking would be an advantage. is that legal? i think a good 9/16th rope would be way faster than dealing with those two tails. if thats legit than i definitly would go that way.

no, Im thinking that footlocking up a larger diameter single line is way easier than footlocking up two ends of the rope of any diameter. The thicker diameter is just easier to grip than a 7/16th rope single line which is would still be faster than footlocking up doubled rope.

if that would be allowed in a competition I would do it that way no question. a thicker rope would also have a little less bounce than a smaller single line. it couldnt hold the unicender though.
