Two Injured in Rockland Car Crash

ROCKLAND, ME -- Two people were injured in a car crash at Cedar and Brewster streets in Rockland on Friday when a driver lost control of a vehicle on the icy road and it spun into a parked tree-trimming truck. Lt. Jamie Leo of the Rockland Fire Department said an older model Jeep Wagoneer was headed down Cedar Street at 10:53 a.m. when the driver lost control and hit the tree truck. Two people had minor back and neck pain and were taken to Penobscot Bay Medical Center. A person in the bucket of the tree truck was not injured. The Rockland Fire Department and EMS and Rockland police responded. Also pictured is firefighter Chris Whytock.
