tREX

So it's been out for a little while now. Are people liking it? How is it holding up to wear? Is it really as sexy as it looks? I'd trade a little strength for a product that will pick less and hold up to regular abuse longer than tenex. Let's hear it, thanks.

Don't have any experience with it, but from what I've read elsewhere it holds up real nice in comparison to tenex. Looking to learn how to splice shortly, so I'd like to hear more about tREX as well. Tenex is alright, but trying to pull the strands even when it picks is bothersome.

I like the trex. I have a triple sling with 1 #3 and 2 # 2's abr rings. It has been a better way to rig. I also have a dead eye sling that is tenex tec. For my port a wrap. I wish it was trex tho.

tREX is dyed to a much higher standard than Tenex. It is also very waxy, which is good for fuzzing, but can make splicing it a bit more difficult (still super easy).

I like it a lot so far, see no reason to go back to Tenex.

I like it a super bunch for rigging as the snag factor is greatly decreased. Also yes the splicing part is a bit harder. Easy once you get the hang of it. Stretches less too in my opinion at least.

I like it. The waxing reduces the picking problems (but it's still a hollow braid so you have to pay attention).

Sure, the color is sexy but it makes splicing distinctly easier because of can see any twist. Great for long eyes or long locked brummels.

Not quite as strong as Tenex but pretty close. Stronger than StableBraid.
