The Tree Man is Hiring!
Lexington, Ky is located in the heart of Bluegrass Country, The Horse Capitol of the World, home to Bourbon (if it's not distilled here, it's not Bourbon, it's just whiskey), and home to several national champion trees. Cincinnati and Louisville are about an hour and twenty minute drive on interstates with plenty of back roads through the horse farms and country side.
The Tree Man provides all aspects of tree care services to a diverse client base. In addition, we provide landscape design, installation and maintenance services.
Guaranteed you will not get bored and will be able to learn, grow and advance your arboriculture career. Pay is competitively based on level of experience.
Two Positions Available:
Arborist -
Experienced and knowledgable person in pruning, climbing, bucket truck operation and planting. The applicant should be proficient at spurless climbing and technical rigging. A Class B Kentucky CDL with air brake endorsement will be needed if not already licensed. ISA Certified Arborist is preferred but if not you should have the willingness and desire to obtain certification.
If you are looking for a long term commitment with ample room to grow in this profession then you are like the trees and should inquire about the job.
Arborist Apprentice -
Assist in all aspects of work to complete jobs. Must be able to safely operate chainsaw, chipper,stump grinder, mini-skids, rakes and shovels. Experience in tree work is preferred but not necessary. We will train anyone to do the work, but if your not into it, all of our training won't matter.
