Deep south,bulldogs and elephants, though I don't know why. This guy is not from here though, but more in line with TtT. Not lithocarpus. Maybe a distant cousin of mine.

Honestly, I wouldn't know if swamp white was native to 'Alorgia' LOL. Nor would I know if Q. imbricaria was, but that's my guess.

OK fellas, last hint(s). I think we can all agree the genus is Quercus, possibly from hint of it possibly being a distant cousin(oldOAKman). And that its range is mostly in the northeast, (tom's area). Now the last one: It is not a native of north america.
