Here's one you don't see many of. And not that far of a distance.

Deep south,bulldogs and elephants, though I don't know why. This guy is not from here though, but more in line with TtT. Not lithocarpus. Maybe a distant cousin of mine.
 
Alorgia: elephants and bulldogs- think SEC. This guy is out of it's range here but you are right in the middle of it's range Tom.
 
OK fellas, last hint(s). I think we can all agree the genus is Quercus, possibly from hint of it possibly being a distant cousin(oldOAKman). And that its range is mostly in the northeast, (tom's area). Now the last one: It is not a native of north america.
