OOOOOO thar might not be a wood shed around but somebody might get a whopping.

That harness makes me my yearly income, its high range of movement, functionality, comfort and light weight allows me to make MORE MONEY FASTER.

If for example, there was a chainsaw available that was twice the power and half the weight of the rest BUT it only lasted 2 years, would you buy one? I bloody would! I believe this is what Mark was explaining with the bike example.

Parts can be replaced.

Its a matter of performance over longevity, i know what i would choose.

Cheers James

Like high performance tires, they stick to the road better but won't last nearly as long.

All comes down to cost benefit. If it is designed that way then great be clear about that in the marketing, don't hide it. Then we can make an informed decision.

Hey, I am a college student that knows more people in the business than you do tlhamel. From professors and other people, I have been told and showed the wear and tear problems on this saddle. It is a nice saddle, great for work, just designed for lightweight and max performance.

Ahhhhhhhahahahahahahahaha. I love it. I went to college too and I'm still dumb as [bad word]. I know this is an old post but I just read it. Maybe those college professors can step it up a bit and teach ya a think or two about ppe.

You know what I loved the most about college? Shortly after graduateing your going to find someone that knows more and is better then you at what you went to school for and they never took a college course in their lives. Question is, are you smart enough to realize this and continue your education outside of the class room and listen or will you take that diploma, roll it up and shove it in your ears?

As far as the tm goes, I still have mine, she's still kickin after about a year and a half and I'm happy with the purchase.

C'mon Family....

I think we can all agree that college kids know a lot more people in the industry than we all do and are probably the smartest people on the Earth.

Now if they could only figure out how to not default on their student loan payments after they graduate.......

Now if they could teach what orange cones, caution tape and a work zone is, that would be sweet...

I have been to college and I met quite a few people through profs but I have met a whole new world of people and a lot more without using college connections. I think he's just some snot nosed college guy spouting off. College was a good base for me and got me into the industry but it was volunteering and networking on my own that has made me good friends with some out there. As far as my TM.... it has been temporarily put on the injured list. I'm sure it will make a come back appearance but right now I got the cougar set up and working in it. The TM is a great saddle and has been super comfy but I haven't been on it since the accident and still a little unsure.

You really oughta switch to a seat and forget about leg-loop saddles altogether. Dont tempt fate brother...

I am about to replace the rope bridge on my treemotion. Is there any problem in replacing it with a normal rope in the same diameter? Instead of having to buy the original rope bridge...
Is there anything I should be concearned about?
Thanks.
Peder.

The Treemotion was designed and tested with the provided factory bridge. Replacing it with a different component is introducing an unknown into the system. I replace parts on my harness only with "factory approved" items.

You made the right purchase. I've been climbing full-time in my Treemotion for two years now. Replaced the left leg loop and the bridge five months ago. No problem.
