Treemotion evo setup

Hey all,
Been climbing on buck ergovation for the past 4-5 years, padding was getting thin and uncomfortable so swapped it out for a new treemotiong evo.

Harness feels great on the ground and when working on spurs, whilst I’m hanging from my rope the leg loops are riding up and giving my nuts a squeeze.
Any tips on how to keep the leg loops down a bit?? Run em tighter or looser?

Any feedback is appreciated

The bungees on the sides of the leg pad should be moved to keep the leg pads from rotating into the crotch area. I do that by moving where the bungee attaches to the leg pad a few holes closer to the rear of the pad. Also, the rear bungees should be loosened until the bottom of the leg pad sits near the top of the back of your knee.

Thanks mate, I will give this a try tomorrow

My rear bungees are slacked all the way off and still no where near the back of knee, do I need to find a longer bungee cord to replace it

I like my TM Evo more on the tight side. The waist belt is the foundation from which the leg loops hang. If I have discomfort, I first look at waist tension. Maybe seasons and clothing layers play a role…

- I make sure it’s tight when standing, because it always slacks when in suspension. This is the best way to keep a heavy saw from shifting it out of place.
- Leg loops get adjusted when the saddle is new and never again. They seem to hold adjustment well. I shorten the side and back bungees to keep the leg loops where they should be (my preference) when I weight the saddle. My hip to leg adjusters are loose, so it is the bungees alone that keep my leg loops in place.
- Hip D’s get used maybe once a year. Leg D’s are my jam, even with spar work.

My saddle is kinda like 2 pieces. Tools on my waist and the leg loops are responsible for 90% of climbing and work positioning.

sometimes i have to stop, hang, and pull the leg loops away from my crotch, back toward my knees. they do get tight... but i haven't yet changed the length of the bungees cause a lot of the time they feel fine
