How about hurricane season?

Just get a bunch of climbers up a tree alternately dressed in red and white clothing.

Then they can fly off to the side and look like an American flag.

Take a video and go viral on Youtube - LOL

No Hurricanes in Jan. Just hot or cold weather and plenty of sunshine

sunshine and warm weather is just what hawaii gets but we have half naked hula dancers and lots of cute woman. some of the best food in the world and some really cool bars are found here on maui. i want trees and surf to chime in so he can back me up about a hawaii rec climb. we do have some big tree's here.

Also very expensive to visit. I couldn't swing Hawaii, although I'd love to. If you can put me to work, and a place to crash, I'm on my way, LOL
 
it sucks we never got to climb jon. did the shipping service find your stuff? oh btw if your in kihei. look up at the mountain on the south east ridge. you wil see a MASSIVE tree up on the ridge. that is the eucalyptus tree i was telling you about. :)
 
Yea, my stuff came in. Managed to do some climbing, had a great time out there.

I will look over and see if I can spot that tree you are talking about. Things have been a tad on the cloudy side up on Haleakala for the past few days, hopefully I can see it.

Maui is still a great choice for a rec climb. I can talk to my guys over at the Boy Scout camp here, they could help with some pretty affordable (cheap/free) lodging.
