Sorry to change the subject, but I've been dreaming of getting a dogo argentine for about 4 yrs now. Seems the perfect dog for me. Breeders never return my call though. Are they as good as they sound? I would probably hunt and kill things with it, plus be with my kids and be a family dog. Lots of space and good exercise here.

Man he was AMAZING. I would love to get another some day but I already have 3 dogs (all rescues). If you are serious about one, I may know of a pup for you. I will at least find out if it is still available. I was tempted to grab one of the pups myself but I already have my hands full to say the least haha.

Edit* Sorry, it is a Presa Canario that is available. Not sure why I was thinking it was a Dogo.

Another slight de-rail. Yesterday I spent a wonderful day out here in SoCal with Tom Dunlap. He gave a TCIA EHAP seminar, and we also got a chance to get to know each other and hang out afterwards.

One of the many things we talked about the freedom of these threads, how some get kinda nasty, but most work themselves out. This thread is the perfect example of why he and Mark give some liberty in letting things play out. Y'al showed your true character in dealing with a situation the way men should. Good on y'al, and another reason I'm glad to be on Treebuzz. I hope to get to meet the rest of y'al sometime soon.

By the way Above, what type of saddle does your dog prefer?

Funny you ask, she nags and nags and nags me to get her a Treemotion. I tell her I am only climbing in a Puma so there is no way I am dropping that cash on a new saddle for her.

Believe it or not, a lot of good has come from this thread.

That is what treebuzz is a microcosm of the real world. When the shite hits the fan you either deal with it work it out or end up isolating oneself. Real men and women know how to own up for their shortcomings and deal with disagreements as adults accepting one's role in a wrongdoing. Nothing wrong with saying sorry there is no weakness in that, but we still need to not keep making the same mistakes over and over. That is growth. I have done a lot of shite in my life but I think at 44 I have grown a bit, after all we are only human.
