tree stuff, its been real....

So I’ve been watching this thread reading them all, analyzing etc....I’ve been a long time customer since TS began, will continue to be. All I have to say is Bonner, Carson and the rest of the crew work their asses off, work very long hours, and if you weren’t at this years Tree expo to see for yourself in person then you wouldn’t know what I’m talking about, @bonner1040 these guys went over the top for me , and a lot of others at the expo, provided some very amazing memories and entertainment for us all at the Treestuff after party, as well as the Sherrill Tree one Thursday night! Thanks @Tripp Wyckoff for that. Sure there may be the odd problem or Glitch but these guys put so much energy and passion in what they do it’s pretty amazing to watch in person! So keep up the great work!

We have had few issues and great response to any product warranty issues. However, that said, there's enough on here to warrant a better response to why CS issues keep coming up. Putting it back on the customer to resolve these problems is just wrong. Yes, I can call the top at any time isn't the solution. Just as Treestuff responded to the shortcomings that arose at Sherrill long ago, other competitors are now doing the same thing.

Dig deep Nick and find the real problems, communicate with your client base, resolve them, communicate that to the base, and monitor for full adoption of the new practices.

Good luck.

Agree with all the comments above. I used to call and actually get someone. Now you call and you go to a voicemail. All of my recent orders have had one issue or another. I think any bushiness owner can relate to growing pains, but Things just seem to be going down hill since the sale. My original tree stuff ropebag is still intact and going strong on about 4 years. Both my new tree stuff rope bags busted open and are basically junk on minimal usage.

Interesting about the bag. I had ordered one of the original Shirill Rope bags a long time ago..... After two days of having it on basically no use it was falling apart. After I contacted them asking what I could do or they could do I was answered with " We still have your billing info and will send you another out tomorrow, We will just bill the same info again. Is that ok?" So after I said to basically F off I never went back to them.

Fairfield you should call Tobe as he just said they give a life time warranty on all their gear and I'm sure he would never tell a lie to make a buck!!!

I fully endorse anything that costs them money

I am sure he wouldn't, although he was exactly the person I wrote at the time after the first conversation with a rep. Tobie in turn told me he didn't have anything to do with that part of the company so there was nothing he could do. If my memory serves me right at the time his advitar was either a BMX bike photo or a dirt bike...... I hate to see gear prices go back to being over blown again but........

Yup he's the owner of the company but there's no way he can replace a rope bag?? even though he states here that they always stand behind their chinese knock off BS
And if a product does fall short, we stand behind it with a lifetime guarantee and hassle-free replacement.

Tobe shame on you.

Give it a few days then I'm sure Trip will tell us how the customer always comes first (unless it comes to money I assume)

I've also been disappointed (though not surprised) at the nose dive treestuff seems to be experiencing under sherrill ownership. I guess there's more money to be made pushing your own brand of gear rather than keeping the extensive selection of gear in stock which TS used to have.

The question now: who is gonna step up and fill the void?

Fairfield, I'd start buying from Gap Power Arborist division. Not far from you in Gap PA, Lancaster county. Shipping is free. Help the little guy out. I have bought several things and they are working hard to get established.

Enjoyed meeting them again this year at Expo, and hoping to visit their store in late Dec.

Did TreeStuff elimimate the "FREESHIP" coupon code? Not that I ever used it, my orders were always above $100.00 anyway.

Still listed on their website here, but I know they have been evaluating their shipping policies. They just had a survey with a lot of shipping related questions. For example: “would you like all orders to have free shipping and the gear to cost more OR low price on gear and for shipping to cost more?” I am paraphrasing but I think it said something like that...
