Tree Service Owners - Covid 19 / Shut down

Only Arborist and Tree Service Owners - How has this effected your business?
Are you working?
How much work do you have?
How many guys are you running compared to normal?
How many calls per week?
Will this put you out of business?

I normally have 8 to 12 weeks of work. I run 2 employees April to Christmas. This year I have 3 to 4 weeks of work maybe, and not full weeks. Yesterday I lost a $3,400 dollar job. In total have lost about 5 weeks of work this year, due to shut down. Calls have dropped to none, got one job this week $100 stump removal. Last week got one job $500 dollar removal, for a friend. Week before got one $1000 job. Last year I had so much work, I could not keep up, I was turning customers that lived 1/2 hour away down.

Currently we are still working when we can.

Covid-19 forum threads reproduce every three days... there's no cure or treatment. 3% of the people reading them will die of boredom. Further testing is needed, but it appears that a new case of Covid-19 forum thread can spawn from browsing to an unrelated thread that is within 6 lines of a pre-existing Covid-19 thread. The CDC is recommending that visitors to Covid-19 thread infested forums wear beer goggles at all times, and have no Personal Message contact with forum members.

We need to quarantine them to their own sub forum. Stat or they will start popping up in treebay

Your user profile doesn't make that distinction. You may want to do an online search to find out whether Canada, or your particular province is providing any similar monetary assistance. You can also search forums by using the search function. It's a handy thing to do, especially when you're thinking about starting a thread. Someone else may have already invented that wheel.
