hi there can you tell me a bit a about what sort of work you carry out ie powerline work ,crane and helicopter removals -large take downs, small residentail work, and what sort of paypackage you are putting togrther
thanks raymond

We are one of the largest tree services in Anchorage, Alaska with 2 crews doing residential pruning and hazardous removals. All work is done with climbers (no crane trucks or bucket trucks). We also have a guy doing stumps full time and a pest control crew in the spring.
Pay would depend on what position you are interested in (are you a climber? other?) and experience. Give a call (907)441-1843 or fax a resume to (907)248-0026 or give us your number and we can get in touch with you.

Raymond mentioned helicopter removals. A college buddy of mine uses helicopters for logging...has anyone used or heard of this for individual tree removal like we do?

Oops, sorry, forgot to mention the name. I'm Mike (owner), the number is my cell so I 'll be the one picking up.
We don't have huge trees up here so 95% of the stuff we can generally chip. The rest we just cut up and throw in the truck by hand. Never heard of anybody using helicopters for residential work. Anyway, give me a call. Where are you located?

yep we use helicopters here about once a month ,sorry guys i forgot to mention that im in New Zealand, were its cheaper to use them if a 150 tone crane cant do the job, ill try to get some pics for you guys its easyer than doing a crane job you just have to watch out for the down force of the blades it can get a bit windy, then we chip up to 19 inch and load the heavy on to trucks with diggers that have forestry grapple attachments
