Never know when I might need to come up do something for my dad. Eventually that’s going to be a big project. Also if you ever get a tree clearing project or something…I’d like to get on with a gyppo logger or do burned tree removals or something.

The Africa stump is awesome

Gotta love the walks in the woods after leaf drop, really seeing the landscape.
I like how these two oaks made a bit of an arch.

A country branch can survive

I cut a large branch off a hackberry the other day. It looks like a codominant branch thing going on. I just thought it was unusual. It was completely hollow 4ft up the branch.

ClimbingTN, could be a shear stress fracture that opened and then grew/closed over the gap. very neat to see!
