...i ordered alot from honeybrothers they have pretty good selection and their customer service is awesome

Really? I was wondering how to purchase from them. When you do, are you calling them? Or, internet order?

Assuming it is internet, do you simply crunch your credit card number and it automatically converts currency?

What has your shipping costs looked like?

we got them overseas i found it on honeybrothers site tell them to use ups for shipping its only like 30 it will be cheaper for just saddle

jamin make sure you request ups if not it will go tnt and it will cost alot the first time i paid 150 for like 16lbs second time it was 38 from ups the shipping on ups is cod
but well worth it to save 120 also you have a over the border fee like 3 bucks and a currency exchange like a dollar but still worth it by along shot.

Guys, i think the thing you're all missing here is...
All the products you mention as being cheap in the UK are EUROPEAN brands.
It costs money to bring quantities of stuff in from other countries.
You're just lucky that your US made products are good value in the US.

Try buying tree climbing gear in Australia where everything is imported either from the US or Europe.

Treemotion in Aus are $850+
Buckingham classic traverse is $500+
Sequoia is $600 at some places.

If an Aussie ordered a treemotion from the US it will cost about $1050 landed.
As it will have gone from europe to the US then to Aus.

It will cost about $720 to bring 1 straight from europe.

I get that point. Because I have noticed that the Trango Cinche is expensive in the U.K. And that is made one city south of me...

I think we are shocked at the amount of the "mark up" we see from suppliers, who are supposed to have "buying power" to reduce prices.

I don't know what U.K. retailers get their wholesale T.M.'s for, but their end/retail price is much more reasonable. I cant' imagine the U.S. retailers have to purchase the harnesses at a higher wholesale price, just because they are American...

IMO. We are being priced gouged

As for you guys down there in the Out Back... I would be reeeeaaaaal upset.

And I wouldn't settle for those marked up prices at all...

This all may be true, and thank you for posting. However, the fact remains that I can purchase and take delivery of a treeMotion from the UK for ~250 USD less than I would pay in the States.
