Tree Installations & Trimming - Harbin, China

Here's a few pictures of my trip to Harbin, China last week. This crew was working on Sun Island. There's a massive construction effort going on there with some gardens, buildings etc. It was interesting... you could walk around the construction site unescorted, bulldozers, dumptrucks everything whizzing right by you.

Don't know, I was only touring the island that day. It is supposed to open fully next year.

I'd rather speculate that the scene depicted in the "tree installation" image is instead a reconstruction of a roadway amidst established trees.

I'm not sure, you could be right. It was my understanding that much of the island was just a wild forest area up until just a few years ago.
