PORTSMOUTH — A 20-year-old man was taken to the hospital Friday after cutting his foot with a chain saw.
Following a 10 a.m. 911 call, a Portsmouth fire truck and Newington ambulance responded to a Marsh Lane residence, where the man was working for a tree company when he cut himself with the chain saw, said Assistant Fire Chief Steve Achilles. He was found with stable vital signs and a “laceration down to the bone” on his right foot, said the assistant fire chief.
Once stabilized and his bleeding brought under control, the injured man was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital, said Achilles.
