Tree climbing in the Amazon w/Tim Kovar

I'm dreaming of a vacation right now.

That climbing school mentioned in Grants Pass is almost next door. Grants Pass is like the northern gateway to Applegate Valley where we live.

The article mentioned the sounds of the animals.

Like macaws - that's for sure.

We have a Blue and Gold, and it's call is definitely fit for the jungle.

The difference in forest sounds would make for an experience in itself.

Man... We just got 10cm of fresh snow here today in Ontario. Woke up to 30km/h winds and -7... climbed me 70 feet up a lakeside/waterfront huge Red Oak by 9:30am and deadwooded it. 4 hours to finish the tree... the snow started halfway through and I could barely move my jaw my face was so cold... and my fingers... not quite sure if they were still there. Just another day working in the winter here, 4 months a year...

Oh to climb in the Amazon.
