Great news Jamin!

Keep us posted. It feels like everyone who contributed to this thread so far has signed on as a human resources department.

Great story about the knot ;)

Ok, Jamin. I took some of the stuff communicated in this thread and started a PDF. I hope this will be a good start to the "Tree Climber Expectations".

Jeremy. That is a great start! Now we all should continue the ball to roll with this one.

F.T.R. My new climber is doing well. Many of my observations at the interview have been true so far. After 2 weeks he stated, "Man. I've learned more in 2 weeks, than in the past 4 years."

We got him a T.M. saddle with a Hitchclimber, Cinch, Zubat, etc... He is lov'n how much easier a V.T. is compared to a Blake's.

He cooperates well with my Type A personality. He communicates well with customers. He operates and maintains machinery well.

His only area to work on is tree trimming technique and working more efficient in a tree while removing. (He's not used to the luxury of a GRCS)

I gave him a 1 month review and told him he is worth more than I started him. So, I gave him a $1.00/hr. raise.

The dynamics of a 3 man crew is different in many ways. Man! We are tearing through work!
