Tracked lift recommendations?

The idea is not bad, except the “setting up over the bed” idea. Some of these spider lifts will set up over a truck, but only a truck set up for this - a switch and go body is too high and too wide for the outriggers to clear the sides of the bed and reach the ground.

Also, why the switch and go, and not just an F550 with a little flatbed for the lift? Seems to me like too many moving parts to get set up on a job site.
I was thinking switch n go for versatility. But as I said I just pondered it and then decided not to pursue it. I never went deep enough to figure out all the details (outrigger clearance vehicle height etc.) Maybe a customized flatbed is better.

chatted with Easy Lift sales people, out of Quebec, Canada. Wondering, who else has experience with these lifts especially the 70-36? Also I talked to someone about the Cela Lifts and said to check them out too, but lots of bad reviews. what about platform basket? sounds like Easy Lift is the best (other than CMC, but not sure at this stage I want to go in that direction).

I’ve had my easy lift 70-36 since 2014 and is a bullet proof design. Simple, no computer BS and has been highly reliable!

I've posted this before....Tracked Lift has a solid 72' "arborist by arborist " very basic and built like a tank. Not remote,, all hard wired. Great 1st time machine.

Up has something going with the 87' and 101'. Extereme set up, departure angle. More advanced stuff once you get used to working on of these.

Plenty on CMC lifts here on treebuzz to go around.

Seeing you are from Canada, the UpE is worth a good look. I'm close to PA, so whent with Tracked L for my first 72'.

I haven’t forgot what you told me Deevo! Thanks very much for the info, I just wanted to see if there were other people who have found the same experience as yourself. Hope, the weather isn’t treating you too bad up there these days! It’s getting sloppy around here lol
