Quite a bit over a three phase also. I had to cut and toss the last 8'-10' before we could start rigging.

To rig anything sizable we needed to redirect our rigging several times to get safe rope angles on the rigging points. I also had to redirect my climbing line several times. This tree had very challenging work posistions.

As we got lower we were closer to the rigging points and could go bigger.

We were tired of this tree and decided to fell the trunk. We used ground anchors with m.a. and many wedges. Chris made and awsome notch and back cut.

Nice job Todd. You're a better man than I am. i wouldn't have touched it over those phase 3 lines. Then again that's why you've been doing this a lot longer than I have. So what were those lights in the picture that are on that wire?

Nice job man. There was no way to get a loader in there? I would of removed a fence pole by the gate to get a loader in there and then replaced the pole. Would of saved alot of cutting and back work. Or was that not an option.

WOW!!! Very nice job to you and the well oiled machine that is your crew.

You sir, are a PRO!
Was 4 days within the bid parameters?
Or was it a time and equipment contract?
40 mph winds! yuck. My least favorite element...
wait, second. All of those wires are, even though I'm
not sure if they're considered an element maybe a "factor"
Hats off to you and your crew. THanks again for sharing.

Now I see pics of work that I was brought up on! Over here those jobs are certainly not unusual. Turning up to price it, you just know its going to take 3 men 5 days. Add a few features round the butt and you can see where the lag hook technique can be useful!

Anyway, very nice job Todd. I know exactly what its like. I love those challenges - no one can come in and trash your price with big equipment, the only way to do it is with time, ropes, MA, biceps and brains. Most people can't be bothered or don't have the skills. Looks like the weather was kind but for the wind - rain makes it a misery.

Loader was not an option unless we had 2 service wires dropped and 2 fences removed. It only took 2.5 hours to move the wood out, no big deal. The sale of the job was fine, get it done and do not brake anything!
