Toronto contractors ripped

It'd be pretty easy to have the crews upload photos (with gps, time stamps, travel path, etc) to demonstrate their work for their work orders. Easy to check the information and schedule quality/safety checks. Work orders should come out of an asset/maintenance system anyway.

It would be pretty easy to cross check tree work on the transport corridor against lodged traffic management plans.

Sigh, sounds bad. The city needs good people setting good contacts and managing them.

I know some cities are in a much better place and can have crews doing tree asset identification too (species, location, health, particulars, etc). Easy to do this stuff and more.

Maybe TO needs some arbor-glitter sensors with their smart city initiatives. No glitter, no pay. :ROFLMAO: I'm sure Sidewalks can figure that out.

Huh. I'm thinking, and could be wrong...maybe its more of problem with trimming in regards to maintaining tree health and your typical "provide clearance for vehicle and pedestrian traffic". Clear the sidewalks to 8 feet, streets to 14, or whatever they want...foregoing the actual time consuming thinning and training of each tree...line clearance and removal of the trees slated for removal is very easy to check, and possibly the only thing that is. I was under the impression weller did a lot of both of duties up there, and did it well. Just talking out loud. We do work for a few cities/towns...and hardly ever during the course of work do they not show up to "say hi" so to speek...we definately wouldn't get a check if it wasn't done, and well. Some goes out for bid, some not...but they always seem to show up.
