Quercus marilandica ready for the mill. It blew over in a recent storm.

Mill logs as well here.

Felling two 36-42" dying cedars to put in a driveway. Much to my surprise given the dead tops, they were 100% solid so I bucked them into 12'6" and 16'6" logs to be milled. The customer actually has the means to have them milled and one of the other contractors on the site has a mill, so unlike most cases, I'm actually pretty confident they will be processed and put to good use.

Hey Scott, evidently you missed a few. Haha. Hard leaning trees on steep ground over mucho expensive, fragile infrastructure. What’s not to love? Going good here. How about you? All well?

Been a quite a few years since I worked over the water canals. John and I did alot of work for the county. Anyhow all good out here. Will be back for my nephews wedding within the year we should meet up. My avitar here is a gray pine at Marshall state park, Kipping took the pic.

About 20 throws, 8 lines installed, one swing between trees, 2 rope rigs, a dozen double sling and biner rigs, 7 bigleaf maples pruned, and a homeowner to clean it all up!

All day with the Echo 2511t... my favorite!

Actually I really like gray pines, they get big and grow really crazy which can make they challenging. John travels alot and still does his Alaska boat trips. He doesnt do much climbing anymore, he is pushing mid seventies. Have you seen or talked to John Elliott lately? Been a few years since we have talked. He is getting up there in years also.
