$300 Echo was nice for some quiet residential work. Sapwood rot. Easy hand pull against the lean. Double- hinge. Pulled some fiber.

I don’t think that stick is coming in over 2k. A properly rigged static pick in a propery spec’d rig gives me little pause. I substantially smaller piece being negative righed (rigged to disadvantage) can introduce peak forces greater than the loft in that photo.I wouldn't like to be under that load!
Heard that. It’s what prompted my previous comment about the drill and adapter. That tool is a game changer.I'm Not calling a foul.
A redirection to a remote trunk for the GRCS would make me feel better.
A power drill and consistently watching upward would be another mitigation. I'm pretty quick, still.
