Tobe Sherrill

I recently bought a rope from sherrill tree after I talked to Tobe Sherrill about it on here (it was the poison ivy line talked about in another thread, and I needed a 200 footer for a couple trees I have coming up). He said it was a 200ft rope with 2 splices on it and we agreed on the price. Well i got it today and it was only a 150 ft line so I shot him a message on here. He responded extremely quickly and told me that he was sending me another brand new 200ft line with splices and that I could keep the 150ft line for my troubles. This completely blew me away. I thought this was awesome of him to do this and just wanted everyone on the site to see how he does business. From now on everything I buy will be from sherrill as I think he does an awesome job with his business. And really cares about customer satisfaction. Thanks again Tobe and Sherrill Tree!

That's rather nice. Thanks for sharing how well that went.

I just bought a new wireless keyboard and mouse last week, and the scrolling wheel seemed defunct. Microsoft sent an entire new mouse and keboard package complete. Didn't even have to take the other one back.

Sure streamlines shopping and smooths the wrinkles.

Yeah, the preponderance of feedback I hear about Sherrill is definitely good.

I've shopped Sherrill since the beginning of my career and have been nothing but pleased with Customer Service and products.

I really like their price "blow out" policy but it does require me to do lots of research. I have got some screaming deals as a result of it. (and I mean unbelievable deals)

Since I do a lot of internet "hunting" for bargains this doesn't add a lot of hassle factor to my shopping with Sherrill's.

ThanX for a great company Tobe!

My opinion of SherrillTree and Tobe Sherrill is solely based on their unparalleled support of my profession. Their commitment is well worth the price I pay.

I have only bought Sherrill products. For the longest time I just went to my local Vermeer dealer, which has great costumer support also.

The only reason I think that I would order somewhere else, would be for boots or a specialty idem that Sherrill don't sell.

Keep up the good work Tobe!

I noted in the mid 90s the tips, pointers, knot illustrations ect. in the catalogue and thought that in itself was generous considering back then tree people as a whole, imo, didn't as readily share that body of information. There's been a huge shift since then thank goodness. I've also had great experiences with them. And those wild lookin' Hawaiian SIPS 5.0s with headband I wear on race day? Tobe and Tim gave them to me in Hawaii. Anybody elese get some nice things from them while we were there? Share! Whiz

They do exemplify good customer service. They'll make you work for that price guarantee but it's worth it!

I had a similar experience with Fiskars. They had offered me to try out some of their tools for free. In shipping one was damaged and they had sent out the wrong model of handsaw. When I informed them, they sent out the replacements and said keep the others. Nice attitude.

We just got Sherrill's 2010 catalog yesterday and I spent the rest of the afternoon pouring over it. I feel like I got a refresher course just from all the information they squeeze in there. Great job!
