Why not use blocks in place of the pulleys? Block attaches directly to the sling and the biner is eliminated. Blocks are old news these days I guess maybe go right to the x mans rings =)

Thankyou monkeylove/TheArborMan - the video was shot at the start of the year and since then I have replaced the biners and slings and rigging ropes with new so the next step will be a new set of blocks like one of those DMM ones mmmmmmmmm! and yes I am trying some beast size X rings real soon so I guess the long answer is I didn't have the best set up at the time but am definitely working on that situation.
