Throwline splices

I have four different throwlines, and don't know what they are. Any help?

They are all hollow braid, and the two I use most of the time I decided to put an eye splice in. I did locking brummels. It was easy except for burying the tails. That was a PITA. Since they are locking brummels, (and not life support), what else can I do with the tails? The whole point of doing eye splices was to eliminate any knots that could catch on brush and "stuff".

The one on the left looks like really faded Dynaglide.

Yellow looks like Weaver or Buckingham or Yale Slickline.

Red & white looks like Edelrid Wurfleine.

Thanks. The Wurfleine is really tight and the fibers are super stiff, so I don't think I can splice that stuff. The acculine seems easier to work with. Should I try to bury the tapered tail, or is there something else I should try?

Bury it. Find some small gauge wire and make a wire fid/puller and it buries just fine. Same for the Dynaglide.

Safety wire for wiring track/race motorcycles works awesome too. Very small and plenty stiff enough to do the trick. Splicing is fun and does NOT have to be expensive.

I use heavy duty sewing needles to pull the bury.
I did that and it worked well. Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't pull it directly with the needle. I just used thin whipping thread on a heavy duty sewing needle, then pulled the throwline tail with the thread. It was still a PITA, but it worked. Thanks. It turned out well.

Here’s the finished splice. I find it very convenient to have a large eye to girth hitch a throw bag. Practice should speed up the process.
