I just came across this video the other day..thats funny. And it almost looks like it dosent even make any cuts. Looks like the arms that grabs the tree just plows threw branches on the way up. Dosent it?

That is how the delimbers on logging equipment works. But the one @Tom Dunlap posted looks like it makes proper cuts.

That OP video is too low quality and quick to see anything that is actually going on.

Removing 95% of a dead branch seems to me to be able to improve lumber quality.

Ahh ok..I didn't know. I thought they would have made proper cuts like the other video @Tom Dunlap posted. I haven't seen any in person just 1 or 2 in videos.
