This could almost go in \"Awakenings\"

Saw over on the nerdy slashdot.org site a while ago an article about battlefield dressings which will clot blood almost instantly rather than merely sop it up. Seems the technology could have a good, albeit expensive, place in "our" industry as well as for the military.

I read an article on those almost a year ago while getting an oil change or tires rotated (I can't remember for certain). I'm glad to see that they are actually in production.
