A few years ago one of the owners of this site asked me if I had any ideas for this site. One I thought of was "Treebay." Sortof self explanatory. There was some concern at first about liability, but I think most will agree that since then, treebay has been used to sell mostly new gear anyways.

Looks like someone is using our name...

Hey John,

You ought to do a little research before slandering Darin and ArboristSite.

Darin doesn't own TreeBay.com. The person that does paid for the ad space. Why don't you search and see who the owner is before making wild accusations?

Ditto for Nick who no doubt thinks the same thing and started this thread.

More importantly, I was only joking with this thing. I could care less. I just happened to notice it a few weeks ago, then realized it looked familiar...that's all.

I figured you started this thread not too concerened about the results. So I can add that my provincial forestry centre has had a treebay for a couple of years. Maybe they came up with the idea.
