Thee best rake.

Groundskeeper is the way to go I've shown them to a lot of people and it always seems the same either they learn the technique and love it or they don't give it a chance and hate it right away if you think it's too aggressive you just have to learn how to use it I have had the same one for several years and finally just had to replace a few of the tines they definitely have a learning curve and there are few tricks like flipping them over on pavement and but if you give them a chance I think you'll find they will outperform anything else and out last too I too am a rake breaker if I'm going to do it I like to get clean up banged out quickly and aggressively before the groundskeeper 2 I would double up plastic Ames rakes but they didn't last long and you can't pick up twigs and wedge cut outs and flick them into the chipper with anything but a groundskeeper

I thought I was the only one that loved the Groundskeeper! I agree that it's a technique thing that defies use of other rakes. Once you get it, you can stand in one spot and easily reel in a pile from 360 degrees around you with little effort, then move on. It takes such a light touch to grab everything.

I like my groundskeeper and my son hates it. Had a client run over the handle and crushed it. Thought it was a goner til I slipped a 3/4" piece of schedule 40 PVC over it. Fit like a glove, few drywall screws to hold it in place and it is ready to go. One question though, has anyone ever replaced the tines on theirs? Althought advertised as replaceable, I have never seen the relacements listed. Luke??

Groundskeeper... hands down... I buy 25 every season and resell them to my customers.... as soon as they see us working with them.... bam.. they want one.... so we try to get the name out there and build customer loyalty because they have a rake that works.. that they got from us....

We used the forestry rake from AM Leonard too... awesome rake.. but the tines are too brittle and end up falling out after a time....

2cents...

Yours in trees,
Mark

Just ordered the Leonard rake to give it a try. we'll see. If it makes my son do a better job it may be worth it.
