Which thread is the Revolver backup?

The Ropeman is the Lumberjacks prussik.

Catch the false crotch? It's a Treesbee . Run yer rope through this here metal ring and then thru that thair Quick Link. Git tied in, then yer all set.

Why do you chain the Revolver to a locker on the Ropeman? Why not clip directly and eliminate one piece?

That seems like a creative setup. If the FC and climbing rope are set in the tree how do you get the RG up there? I can't follow the whole setup from just one picture.

i'm confused...

Won't the Revolver make a pretty sharp bend in line for 1/2" that 200# is being drawn up on one side of? Climber pulling self up would give 100# per leg; and as hitch is moved; weight jumps from that leg thru air to other leg of support/ not being cranked over tight bight of Treesbe etc.??

How does upper line lock so that Ropeman can pull down on it with 2x bodyweight as hitch supports 1/2 bodyweight?? Ropeman pulls out of hitch rather than into it?? /forum/images/graemlins/bigeyes.gif

Anyone know the regs on the max load on friction savers? I ask this because we must use a 25kn Biner, however thE Treesbee is only rated to 15kn, so, better keep this as a redirect ONLY... well that is if the industry sets a mark for friction saver use.
