The TCIA in Baltimore

Any info on the sushi would be great...

Also if anyone is aware of open bedding on for thurs night. I'm looking! We couldn't find any reservations for thursday night.....If anyone is looking for a paying roommate let me know....Or give me a call. 913-522-4993

I think we may have to make several sushi nights since everyone is coming and going at different times. Oh well, I suppose I can force myself to suffer. If anyone figures out a good time to go please let me know. Maybe we should leave a message at the Treeworker booth with a sushi sign up?

I'll be up tonight and tomorrow for the trade show only. My wife and I will be there this afternoon. If anybody has plans for a get together give me a call at 757-560-6944. We'll be looking for a good outing this evening. We're staying a little bit away and will need to cab it where ever we go. We'll look for the Warf Rat and the other place in Fells Point. I avoid the ESPN Zone and Hardrock like places. Service sucks and so does the beer selection. Yes I'm a beer snob too. Call me if you'd like! Steve Connally,

im gettin ready to leave right now. I hope everyones havin fun out there. Wish i could have made it sooner but duty calls at work. the buzz is kinda been slow, did anyone take their lap top?

great show; so much happening on the floor; sessions first class too.

Nick,
A "feel good" story. Glad that it made it to print. Didn't you mention something about this here(the Buzz) a bit ago. Can't remember who. Anyway, congrats to both you and Karina on a fine Article! ps. I had some sushi here tonight. I think it was from the Ohio River.

Yep...

There was mention of the tree...with some pictures. We talked about doing an article out of it, but Guy really gave us the push we needed to get it into THAT issue.

I can't wait to see it!

love

Re: Yep...

I missed out on the sushi--no big loss except missing out on the company. Tradeshow was enormous--so much good stuff, so many arbos. I got to meet with friends and--my favorite part-- total strangers and learn from them. Bumped into Kim Coder in one aisle and got to bend his ear about what should be presented at these meetings (his talk on geriatric tree care was a wish fulfilled). Where else could I do that?

I also got to have my brain filled by him and all the rest. Priceless.
Next year it's all the way up to Hartford--not such an easy drive for me but still it's on the calendar. It's a can't-miss no-brainer of an decision to attend for any tree guy of gal.

Hey Nick after you and Karina see your piece you oughta post about how easy it was to write it and get it printed. Editors at TCI and Arborist News are very easy to work with. They all know that we NEED more articles written by arborists in the field, and will help you through the process of putting one together.
