The New Treemotion

If it will fit.. is that what you were saying Evo? I'm not sure.. It's a Large & i was swimming in the original XL I had.

What is the actual exact differences between the two older versions besides buckles & padding? Will the S.Light accept the fat boy comfort padding?

You know Evo.. I'm not sure I'd be a good candidate for a trade.. I'm still pretty undecided on the Non-Evo printed size.. Hence the reason the new Evo grabbed my eye with a larger sizing... I literally swing in & out of a 34 - 38 waist depending on the time of year & what Ive been doing for work. Obviously not over night, but you know what I'm saying. Yeah, the MB XL was way too big, but for some reason i have a feeling the older TM maxed at 38 will give me trouble with extra layers in the cold. I'll keep it in mind though.
It's all good, wouldnt fit me anyhow. Just thought I'd throw it out if you had buyers remorse. I'm about to swap into the TM light in a few months.

I thought the D's looked interesting, but the rest of the saddle had me wondering.. Since you have one.. what is the purpose of the circled below? It's looks like an adjuster that you can't adjust..

When i had a similar style suspension for a short but with the Ergovation, while I was dialing it in, I kept longing for the ability to make that exact spot longer without touching the other adjustments. But you can't because it's sewn in place. Now i see a saddle of this style design with an adjuster in there, but it looks sewn in place.. why not just sew it without the hardware. The hardware in there seems to have no purpose.. Can u clarify?

Also in this picture below, is what's circled, the means of rise adjustment? Is it just one long loop terminated in the back? No other adjustment other than rear leg straps?

A few months ago i contacted the manufacturer about purchasing the Lower D's. They were more than happy to sell replacement bridge rings & cordage, but played it off like they didn't know how to order the D's rings.

The buckle that you circled is adjustable. The tail is tucked in so that you can't see it.

And the second part you are correct in that it is one moving belt that can be adjusted at the back.

Haha.. most certainly indeed.. I have buyers remorse with everything.. just wait till i buy a T-M Mark IIV-0 & start in with my bitching like an ole lady.. ;)

Oh no kidding.. it does move.. could have fooled me.. this pic right here makes it look as if it's sewn in place.. hence the reason for my confusion seeing adjusters in there too..

Here's the pic that led to my question.Screenshot_20190312-221320.webp
You see all the stitching there?

Pretty interesting though as that kinda along the lines of the adjustment i felt i needed in the Ergo.. if it had the adjustment there i feel it would have worked out without having to leave the leg loops loose in order to achieve the balanced vertical equation i was looking for.

Regardless, i am looking forward to seeing what T-berg does with these new Deees..

It moves all right.

All the adjustabiltity is to complicated for me. I played with it at first and then just left it. It probably isn't adjusted to its optimal settings.

The new ds on the tmevo, instead of just a hole for one there's 2 so you can terminate 2 bridges independently and adjust their lengths. That's if your using stopper knots. They have a different way to terminate a spliced bridge and webbing bridge.

Interesting how Sherrill says the 2018 treemo wieghs just over 6 lbs, and tree stuff says just over 5. You would think they could get together and pick a number... or use the right number. I'd go weigh mine cause I'm curious now, but I added a few things to it and I'm not taking them off.

Has any one ran the evo with just one bridge rope? I have a idea to try make it adjustable but would have to run one bridge and some accessory cord Prusik hitch and then run it back through the hole where the second bridge would be. It don’t look like the hole in the D’s are big enough for the single rope (with fisherman knot) to slip Through!
