Saw it at the show. It looked nice, but after hearing the price I about fell over. I thought the TM was expensive when I bought it, at least it had the excuse of being shipped from around the world.

This is the first Patented fully modular customizable fall protection, system, that can be used in any high angle environment. The sit harness debuted at TCI as the core element, and the fall arrest attachment's will be available, as well as the other 6 suspension assemblies, and the batten seat, by the end of 2008

The price may be an issue for some, but for those folks that believe in the longevity of their careers this is cheap insurance, when you compare a typical back injury, with a starting cost of $10,000, and in more extreme circumstances up to $200,000 the cost of the harness is well worth it.

So this saddle will eliminate the risk of a back injury?

It does look like a good saddle, but it is WAY over priced.

Its too bad they dont price it reasonably, they would blow the imports out of the water, with a comparable product and lower price. But at that cost? Good luck I say. I think Buckingham has shot themselves in the foot.

Nothing can Prevent Back Injury, but this along with a good health routine, and awareness, will certainly reduce the likelihood of sustaining a major back injury. This was co designed and developed by a Dr. of Physical Therepy, and a climber.
Much of the hardware is actually imported from the UK and Austria and therefor is a cost to the manufacture, which is then passed on to the consumer.

Judging by how you are spamming every forum here about it, I can only assume that YOU are that climber. One thread in one forum would be adequate. If you feel the need for more exposure, maybe you should pay for an ad space to the right like all the other vendors do.
