Augusta has become an important part of my yearly travel. where else do we get the chance to discuss competition techniques and tips and then put them to use that day? It is a lot of fun. Thanks to all who took the time to come there and support the event. Thanks to Stihl Southeast for their support too! Scott and Brian are great to work with too. Talk about fun.
Tierson, that knot is a secret! How could you?
Just playing around. That is the same knot I've been using for years now, maybe 8-10? I just make slight changes here and there depending on how I feel and what I am climbing on. Sometimes I use a dbl cross (like XT has) and sometimes I don't. Sometimes 4 wraps and sometimes 3.
One thing that I find is that the Tachyon and HRC is a perfect mix. I also love the Hitch Climber. In fact, all of the guys at work have the same set up. Well, one doesn't because he loves the sport jack.
