Text issues

I'm not seeing any big red play button; must not be a proper extension on the file...

Seriously, I can't "see" the SWF content and the person who wrote the complaint is clueless. Filename extensions only really mean anything on Windows these days. What I use goes by what the file is, not what it's called.

In answer to your question, it has to be Nick since he'll touch IE with a ten-foot pole.

Sounds exactly like me. And Glen, too. /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

SA is one of those gigantic forums....too gamer for my tastes, though.

Funny you mention this because this past weekend was my sister's 16th birthday (no pics for you, Butch). Well, I went to BlueMountain.com to make a card and print out, but I couldn't find anything that I liked out of the 8,000 cards. I went to AmericanGreetings.com and found a card that worked, but when I clicked to create the card, it told me I had to turn on ActiveX. Well, my browser (Firefox) doesn't support ActiveX since ActiveX is the devil and vulnerable. I tried using IE6, and even set it to the least secure possible setting and enabled all the ActiveX settings. Nothing worked. So I logged in as Administrator, opened IE6 and finally got it to work.....

Talk about a screw-up website job. Reminds me....I've gotta cancel the 30 day trial period before they charge me $19.99. /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Wow, hilarious to re-read this thread, but I've never had the text issues since it was fixed. But to think that I've been using Firefox for over two years - I'm so proud! And I'm beginning to understand more and more of what Glen was saying, too.

Thanks again for your speedy handling of concerns!
