Teupen partners with service locations all around the country that are not only able to work on Teupen machines but trained BY Teupen to work on their machines. No more of this "take it to your local hydraulic shop" where the guy could have never seen the machine before in his life. You wouldn't take your BC1000 to a jiffy lube...why would you take your lift to a shop with no training on your unit? Which is not only easier for you but easier on your wallet when you compare it to flying a tech out if you need service once a year for your inspection. Give me a call and we can find out where the closest service location is closest to you. 800-525-8873.
One thing that I tell people all the time is that I work for SherrillTree, not Teupen. We set out on the same search that most tree companies start out on, which was to find the best lift in the market for tree workers. One that would not only keep guys safe but be the best return on investment, and I honestly believe that we found that in the Teupen lifts. There are over 100 units in use by tree companies in the US alone and of the customers that we have talked to, they stand by their machines. They use them often and is not only a huge revenue generator but helps guys go home at the end of the day.
I come from an equipment background and have run everything from rickety little one man lifts with a hand crank to Z-135's and a few things that stuck out in my mind when i first used the Teupen lift, the stability of the boom is just amazing you can use a pole pruner while fully extended and not worry about any of the wobble and bounce that you get on other machines. Another huge point for me was the amount of components on this lift that are covered by a steel plate or tucked out of the way, most lift companies make their lifts for the industrial market which don't have a lot of falling brush.... so there are a lot of exposed hoses, knobs, and panels which you will not find on the Teupen machines the Canopy Series has been made for tree guys so you wont see any of those exposed components. Even the lower controls can be completely removed and taken away from any potential dropzone just in case.
Yes, there are electronics on board but they make life much easier, the computer on board can diagnose the issue and make the service call much easier. If you have a function not working it could take hours, if not days to find the issue with a standard hydraulic only machine. With a Canopy Series machine you have a code which would tell you exactly what the issue is...saving you time and money.
Like I said we spent a lot of time finding the best lift on the market. Once you get in one... it will be the bar that you compare everything else.
